Presentation Summary:

For optimum inspection results, Seidenader focuses on the products, the production environment and the individual requirements of the customer. Each inspection solution originates from the interaction of our three core competencies: inspection, handling and control. Here we will talk about the first two:

HANDLING – the perfect module

High-voltage leak testing of ampules containing higher viscosity liquid, camera inspection of stoppers of vials with liquid contents - for some products, there are good reasons for turning inspection on its head. Seidenader has developed the Upside-Down module for these special cases. The container is raised by several star wheels, turned through 180° and rotated at the end.

INSPECTION - the optimal camera

Whether to use area scan cameras or line scan cameras – the decisive factors for selecting the right camera are the properties of the container, its content and defects. Learn how Seidenader evaluates each product and selects the most appropriate inspection technology based on the results.

INSPECTION – the appropriate technology (example BUBBLE-X)

When inspecting parenterals, it is possible that good products are rejected as defective because the camera classifies air bubbles as particles. Particularly biopharmaceuticals, which tend to be expensive, are – due to their nature – susceptible to air bubbles. BUBBLE-X reliably differentiates harmless air bubbles from particles, so that such products are not marked as defective. With spectral coded illumination, a method has been developed to increase detection rates during particle inspections and to reduce false reject rates when air bubbles occur in liquid products.
