Chi Yuming, Professor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy. After graduating from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1989, he stayed on as a teacher. And then he received his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Kumamoto University in Japan in 1997 and worked as the researcher and the senior researcher at NOK Co., Ltd in Japan from 1997 to 2006. He returned to China in March 2006 and served as the deputy general manager and the Institute director of Beijing Tong Ren Tang Technologies Co., Ltd. Currently, he is the deputy dean of Beijing Tongrentang Research Institute and the deputy director of National Engineering Center for the development of Traditional Chinese medicine compound. And now he is mainly engaged in the research and development of new traditional Chinese medicines, the common technology research of traditional Chinese medicine and scientific research management.

Through the interpretation of relevant policies such as “Technical Guiding Principles for Research on Process Changes of Listed Traditional Chinese Medicines”, he will discuss the application of new technologies and equipment in the pharmaceutical process design and production with participants.
