Pharma TEC of Vogel Media got my attention some years ago in Shanghai when I started to look into the Pharma market of China more deeply. I was impressed about the presentation of the magazine and even more about the event offering and its high quality in terms of content.

As a provider of automated warehouses and distribution centers we focus on the processes of storage, picking, order preparation and transportation between the production and the warehouse. In this area definitely the level of automation has been steadily increasing as well as the requirement for quality control and traceability. Especially when it comes to high valuable products or temperature controlled drugs, automation becomes attractive in order to secure the stock. At the same time accuracy plays an important role during put away and order preparation. Here can an automated approach support, guided and controlled by a warehouse management system. Regulations are getting more comprehensive. Latest guidelines of GMP/GAMP and validation in manufacturing as well as GSP and serialization in distribution have to be taken into account to avoid counterfeiting. Finally, storage capacity increases due to the rising number of products which leads to even more compact, flexible and scalable warehousing concepts.

I had the chance to participate in one of the VogelPharmaceuticalTraining Events in China and was impressed about the very professional organization, the agenda covering a broad range of topics as well as the venue including the exhibition. These Training Events are a great platform to learn and network.
