Matt Safi, Pharma Bio Solutions Ltd, Managing Director

Matt Safi is the Managing Director of Pharma Bio Solutions Ltd with offices in England and China. He has over 25 years experience in Pharmaceutical industry.

As the founder and director of Invensys Life Science team, Matt has worked on Automation Control System and Data Management System projects in Europe, USA, China, Korea, India, Brazil, Mexico, etc. He has extensive experience using GAMP techniques over the full range of projects from small data monitoring systems through to large DCS & MES systems, and embedded control systems for complex machines.

As a product manager at Invensys, Matt Safi has also been responsible for implementation of 21 CFR Part11 for the Data Management and DCS system product range.

Matt Safi has provided automation, data management system and consulting services to a large number of international and Chinese pharmaceutical companies. His specialities include Batch control system (ISA-S88) and pharmaceutical applications including API, Biotechnology, and Finishing plants.

As a member of ISPE and GAMP forum Matt has provided input to a number of ISPE guidelines including HVAC, Water and Steam Systems, Process Gasses, Calibration Management, Cold Chain, PQLI Road Map.He has also been a speaker at numerous conferences in Europe, China, India, Brazil & Korea.
